PUBLIC NOTICE OF BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the proposed budget for the year 2026 of the Varysburg Fire District of the County of Wyoming and State of New York has been adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Varysburg Fire District. A public hearing will be held at the Varysburg Fire District, Varysburg Fire Station, 2446 Rt, 20A, Varysburg, NY 14167, on Tuesday October 21, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. A copy of the proposed budget is available at the office of the Town Clerks of the Town of Sheldon (at the Sheldon Town Hall, 1380 Centerline Road, Strykersville, NY 14145), Town of Orangeville (at the Orangeville Town Hall, 3529 Rt. 20A, Warsaw, NY 14569), and Town of Bennington (at the Bennington Town Hall, 905 Old Alleghany Rd, Bennington, NY 14011). It is also available at the Office of the Fire District Secretary at the Varysburg Fire District, Varysburg Fire Station, 2446 Rt 20A, Varysburg, NY 14167.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sheldon Town Board will hold the 2026 budget workshop meeting on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sheldon Town Hall, 1380 Centerline Road, Strykersville, NY 14145.

Notice is hereby given that the Assessment Roll for the Towns of Orangeville and Sheldon, in the County of Wyoming and State of New York for the Year of 2025, has been finally completed and verified by the undersigned Assessor, and a certified copy thereof was filed in the office of the Town Clerk on the 1st day of July, 2025, where same will remain open to public inspection. For your Convenience, the 2025 Assessment Roll can also be viewed online at the County’s website: http://www.wyomingco.net/150/Real-Property-Tax-Services. Dated this 1st day of July, 2025

Number of Gallons Rate:
First 10,000, minimum $20.00
Thereafter, per 1,000 gallons $ 3.00
effective 120 days from today on January 19, 2023.
Resolution passed at the September 21, 2022 meeting of the Sheldon Town Board.
